In order to promote professionalism and accountability in the procurement process, Human Resources Division held a workshop on Procurement Procedures on 28 April 2023 for Support and Attendant level staff. The workshop, which was attended by 15 staff, was aimed at providing participants with an understanding of the procurement process, as well as equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively carry out procurement functions.
The workshop covered various topics including the existing procurement rules and regulations, procurement process and incorporation of operation into inventory management system along with the usage of the Inventory Management System. Mr. Puskar Thapa Magar, Officer, Procurement and Land Management Section and Mr. Tirtha Raj Adhikari, Officer, Inventory and Property Management Section exchanged their professional services and experience with adherence to guided rules by presenting on these topics along with the practical examples to aid participants’ understanding.
